Lady Fire Wins First Ever Meeting Between Both Schools

BLUFFTON, S.C.--Southeastern University improved to 2-1 on the season by defeating USC-Beaufort, 5-1, on Friday afternoon.
It was the first ever meeting between both schools in women's soccer.
Southeastern struck first when freshman, Suzy Bondy, scored from Ally Larese. Larese would then score back-to-back goals to give Southeastern a 3-0 halftime advantage. Jessica Crowe added a first half assist.
After the Lady Sand Sharks scored the first goal of the second half, Megan Byrd setup Anna Hall to give Southeastern a 4-1 lead. Jessica Crowe closed out the scoring as Sianna Davis and Larese assisted on the play.
Southeastern is now 1-0 in conference play. The Lady Fire will play a non-conference game versus Truett-McConnell College, on Saturday. Game time is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.
